Specifications EC/Z
A toothed clutch is a device that allows the movement transmission between two rotating kinematic systems with engagement from stand still or at synchronous speed.
Slightly different speeds are allowed, depending on the type of toothing. The toothing can be:
– Triangular without backlash, for connecting at a standstill or at null/almost null relative velocity, with two-way drive.
– Trapezoidal with backlash, for connecting at a standstill or at very low relative velocity, with two-way drive.
– Saw toothing, for connecting during movement at medium to low relative velocity, with one-way drive.
Standard toothed clutches allow connection in any position, while other toothed clutches can be provided for connecting a single point or several fixed points (phase).
The control can be hydraulic, pneumatic or electromagnetic.
They can operate in the following ways:
– Spring applied: the control engages the transmission.
– Springs released: normally closed: the control disengages the transmission.
Features EC/Z
Power supply voltage: 24V cc. – 0% + 15%.
Used in oil and dry applications.
Mounted with drive shaft splined to the Magnet cup (1) and the driven motion is connected to the flange (6). All the connected parts must be perfectly coaxial.
Static moments (Ms) from 20 to 6000 Nm.
